Why BabaInvesting.com (Our Story)
My name is Kazem Harfouche, and I’m the founder of Baba Investing.
Growing up as a kid, I went to my Baba (Dad) for everything, from learning how to buy stock, to understanding business operations, to being able to list all the ingredients in a dish from one bite. The only thing I wouldn’t go to my Baba for was basketball tips; he was no use in that department.
My Baba drowned us with knowledge, and I was fortunate to be able to learn from his mistakes at an early age. Throughout the years, I’ve realized that different Babas teach different lessons to their children, and not every Baba may have been teaching their 13 year old kid about time value of money, compounding, and how to buy stocks. There were other valuable lessons that other Babas were teaching their kids that mine didn’t teach me, that’s where I had to rely on my friends and youtube to learn those other valuable skills, like changing a tire, and to be honest I still don’t know how to change a tire.
Throughout the years, I have been helping strangers and friends with investment advice, businesses, job hunting, restaurant recommendations, MBA applications, horology, and more.
I realized there wasn’t one site that gave transparent advice focused on a variety of unrelated but important topics, so I decided to compile the information over the years to create BabaInvesting.com
